Dance performance by DARK MATTER.

Directed and choreographed by Brigette Dunn-Korpela, this 10 minute piece is inspired by Plato’s Allegory of the Cave. The “pod” is an embodiment of the cave. The dancers are costumed as faceless shadows, neutralizing their identities and placing the focus on their movement. This performance was Athena's first collaboration with Brigette, which began a relationship that has lasted more than a decade.
